INDEMNITY BOND FOR GAS CONNECTION

This Bond is executed on the _______ day of ___________ month, _______ year by _____________________, S/D/W of _______________________, resident of ________________________________________(Address with pin code, P.O, P.S and District), hereinafter called the (CUSTOMER/INDEMNIFIER) in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, _________________________ (Name of place with pin code) (hereinafter called the Corporation) under the terms & conditions hereinafter mentioned: -

Whereas the customer ___________________________ (Name of Customer), _____________________________ (Address with pin code), has deposited an amount of Rs. ______________ (Rupees in word) only with __________________________ (Name of Gas Distributor), _______________________________ (Address with pin code), the Authorised Corporation’s Distributor towards issue of gas connection in his favour and a Subscription Voucher Receipt (SVR) No. _____________ dt. ____________ was issued in favour of the customer by the aforesaid distributor recording therein the details of equipment loaned to customer _______________________ (Name of Customer), ___________________________ (Address with pin code), in the meantime lost/not in a position to trace the said SVR No- _____________ dt. _____________. for verification of the distributor a terms of the directive of their principal ___________________________________ (Name of Govt. Oil & Gas Dept.).

The Customer agrees to indemnify and save harmless the distributor and/or the corporation from all losses/claims/ damages/suits and/or actions which may arise out of the presentation of the said lose/untraceable SVR which may be presented to the distributor and/or the Corporation by anybody at a later stage. In consideration of the above undertaking the customer agrees to indemnify the distributor and/or the corporation for the sum of Rs. _________ (Rupees in word) only which is the amount deposited by the customer with the distributor.

The customer further declares that in case he or any of his representatives or assigns has given any incorrect information whatsoever the customer shall fully indemnify the distributor and/or the Corporation from any expenses which the distributor and/or the Corporation may have to bear for the said action of the customer/his representatives/assigns.

The customer further declares that in such eventuality he should surrender the said gas connection without any claim on the distributor or the corporation.
